Have you changed your waiting list process - I'm missing emails?

When we last ran our classes we found that we often had empty spaces in popular classes and activities due to how our system deals with waiting lists. Spaces released by customers cancelling near the start of their activity were not always able to be booked by others in time. 

 To address this problem we are stopping the space notification emails 3 hours before the start of a class. This lets any cancellations during this time to show on the app or our online booking system as soon as they are released, meaning there will be more cancelled spaces available to book. 

 This change applies to waiting lists for:

  • Fitness classes
  • Gym classes
  • Gym sessions
  • Water based fitness classes
  • Lane swimming

 If you want to book into any of the above activities that are full:

  • Continue to use our app and online booking system to put yourself on the waiting list.
  • You will continue to get emails notifying you of spaces until 3 hours before your class/activity starts.
  • From 3 hours before your class/actiity starts, check the app or website where you'll be able to see any spaces as soon as they are released. You will not receive any notification emails during these 3 hours.
