Who are 121s for?
Our 121s are suitable for all ages
and abilities. However, term-time 121s are not normally suited to juniors
because they take place during the school day.
Can I work on a specific aspect of my swimming?
Unlike other coaching, our 121s are adapted to your specific
requirements. As part of the booking process you can submit a form to let the coaches know in advance what you would like to work on. Alternatively, you can do this on arrival at poolside.
Can I book along with a friend?
We only offer individual sessions. If
you prefer to work on your technique with others, we offer Masters, Skills
& Drills, Powerswim classes
along with a large programme of weekly swim lessons.
While these will cover a range of strokes and techniques, we cannot tailor
these to individual customer requirements.
Where do 121s take place?
These take place in our main pool
(50m) in deep water. During school holiday programmes they are also in the main
pool but at 25m, again usually in deep water.
How do I book?
You can book your 121 on our
app or our website's Book Now page; we’re sorry but our
coaches and venue staff cannot make your booking for you.
How far in advance can I book?
Our
121s can be booked from 9pm 7 days in advance (or 8 days in advance if you have
a membership card).
I am having problems making a booking.
When do 121s run?
The programme is organised around coach availability. You can
see the full programme on our app and website. Unfortunately, we cannot deliver 121s on request.
Why don’t you offer 121s in the evening and at weekends?
At peak times pool space is very
limited and our coaches are all busy delivering an extensive programme of
classes.
What do I do if there's no spaces available?
Our 121s are very popular and are
often booked quickly after they are released. Sessions are released on a rolling basis via our app
and Book Now page so please keep checking back for
availability.
Are 121s part of my swim membership?
Like
our other coached lessons, 121s are not included in any of our membership
packages.
What is the 121 cancellation policy?
We are sorry but once you have paid
for your session, we are unable to offer any refunds and your booking cannot be
moved. Please only book a 121 if you are sure you can attend.
