Soft Play Terms & Conditions

Softplay session bookings 

You can book soft play sessions online and on the App. If you do not have a soft play membership you will be required to pay at the time of booking. 

Your booking will reserve 1 table in the soft play area – for a maximum of 6 people.

Online and App bookings open at 9pm. If you have a soft play membership, you can book 8 days in advance online or via the app e.g. you can book on a Sunday at 9pm for a session the following Tuesday. If you do not have a membership, you can book from 9pm, 7 days in advance online or via the app. 

You can book a Soft Play session with any type of Edinburgh Leisure card, even if it is for a different activity. If you have no card, you will be required to set up a pay-as-you-go account.

If you book sessions on the App, you can add them to your calendar.  

You can also check your bookings by clicking 'My bookings' on the App or you can check 'upcoming bookings' on the online booking page.  

Arriving in time for your booking 

Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your session. As we do not have a waiting area, if you arrive too early, we will ask you to wait outside.

Changing or cancelling your bookings and no shows (non members)

Please only book a soft play session if you are sure you will be able to attend. If you are unable to make your booking or change your mind, there are no refunds, and bookings cannot be moved.

What happens if Edinburgh Leisure cancels your booking? 

If we cancel your booking, we will contact you by text or phone. We will offer you a full refund or credit your account with the relevant number of Loyalty Points.  

Softplay session cancellations and charges (members) 

If you need to cancel, please do so no less than than 3 hours before the session is due to start. This will give other customers the opportunity to gain a space in soft play and you won’t be charged for cancelling your space. Please cancel online or on via the app.  

If you cancel your booking less than 3 hours before the class is due to start a Late Cancellation fee of £3 per booking will be applied to your account.  If you do not turn up for your booking or don’t swipe in at the soft play reception, a No-Show fee of £3 will be applied to your account.  We will email you the day after the fee is applied with details on how to make the payment.  

Payment for any fees must be made within 7 days.  Anyone who has an unpaid fee on their account for more than 7 days won't be able to make any new bookings until the fee is paid.
