What does the First Minister's latest announcement mean for extended let customers?

What does the First Minister's latest announcement mean for extended let customers?

We're delighted that the First Minister confirmed that the country would move beyond Level 0 from Monday 9th August.

As shared on Wednesday 4th August, we were reviewing Scottish Government guidance (for the physical activity and sport sector) before introducing any significant changes to how we operate. We can now confirm what the impact of moving 'beyond Level 0' is for you.  These changes are coming into effect immediately unless stated otherwise below:

  • There are no physical distancing requirements. However we still require customers to respect each others and Edinburgh Leisure employees space when inside Edinburgh Leisure and High School buildings.
  • Adult indoor contact sports can resume.
  • We are removing the 30-minute gap between matches for Football League Bookings from Saturday 21st  August 2021.
  • In Edinburgh Leisure venues our changing rooms, toilets, lockers and showers are available to use.
  • In High Schools we are removing the 15 minute gap between bookings on a phased basis due to the high volume of changes required following rebooking. We aim to remove all gaps by 18th October. The Bookings Team will be in touch with you directly to confirm any change(s) with your let.
In High Schools, due to different levels of ventilation in buildings we are able to open some of our changing rooms and showers but not others. Details as follows:

  • stay home if you feel unwell.
