Why have I received a 'no show' charge?

What's more frustrating when you want to go to a fitness or gym class or want to play golf but cannot because it is full?  The answer is finding out there was actually a space but the person who booked it did not attend or cancel in advance.  We call this a 'No Show'.  

If you book into a class or golf tee time and then do not turn up OR do not swipe your card when you enter the venue you will be charged £3.00 (£5.00 for golf).  This charge will be raised during the night after the activity you missed.  You will also receive an email advising you of the charge and also how to pay for it.  We recommend you pay for any charges as soon as possible.  If the charge is still on your account after 7 days of it being raised your ability to book and swipe in for any other activities will be stopped until your balance is cleared.

How Can I Avoid A No Show Charge?
  1. Only book into classes/golf tee times that you are able to attend
  2. If circumstances change remember to cancel any activities you can no longer attend well in advance
  3. Always swipe in at reception (or via our access gates were applicable) when you visit as this marks you as attending.
