It is your responsibility to ensure you book into the appropriate level of class. In the circumstance where the class criteria has unfortunately not been met, we will advise of the correct level to enable you to identify another appropriate class and remove you from the current class.

2. Coaching Direct Debit

Payment for our coaching is by Direct Debit only.

Our programme operates over 44 weeks of the year. The annual total cost of 44 lessons (40 lessons if at Balerno High School) is calculated and split evenly over 12 months of the year.

Based on the date of your first class, a pro rata upfront payment for the remainder of the current month will be calculated up until the first Direct Debit payment is taken. If you join after the 20th of the month, you will also be required to pay the next month in full.

Direct Debit payments will be collected on or just after the 1st of each month.

The monthly Direct Debit amount may be subject to change at the discretion of Edinburgh Leisure. You will be given 10 working days’ notice of a price increase.

If your bank rejects your Direct Debit, Edinburgh Leisure will reapply during the same month,  and you will be notified of this in advance. If your Coaching Direct Debit remains unpaid 15 days after the payment due date you will be removed from the class.

If you are changing your bank account details, you must contact askus@edinburghleisure.co.uk. Bank changes made before the 19th of the month will take effect for the next DD collection.

3. Cancellations

If you decide to stop your lessons, please complete the this form by the 20th of the month and we will process your cancellation to come into effect for the following month. There are no cancellation fees.

If you have multiple bookings in our coaching programme and only wish to cancel one, it is important to contact us and do not cancel your direct debit. If you cancel your direct debit with the bank first, all your coaching bookings with us will be cancelled and we cannot guarantee another customer could book into your space.

Changes made after the 20th of the month to a Direct Debit cannot be guaranteed to take effect by the 1st of the next month.

4. Moving class

Once booked in, any class movements are managed by the venues. If you wish to request to move to another venue, day or time please complete this form and a member of the team will contact you.

If you move to a class with a different price, changes will come into effect for the 1st of the next month.

5. Refunds

We will make every effort not to cancel lessons but in the unfortunate circumstance that we do, we will reduce the next Direct Debit payment to reflect the cost of the lost lesson.

If we have a planned cancellation of a lesson e.g.  if we have a special event, we will reduce the Direct Debit payment for the month with the cancelled lesson. This will happen automatically.

No refunds will be provided for any participant absences.
