1. Bookings
Our programme operates over 42 weeks of the year. The annual total cost of 42 lessons (40 lessons if at Balerno High School) is calculated and split evenly over 12 months of the year.
Based on the date of your first class, a pro rata upfront payment for the remainder of the current month will be calculated up until the first Direct Debit payment is taken. If you join after the 20th of the month, you will also be required to pay the next month in full.
Direct Debit payments will be collected on or just after the 1st of each month.
The monthly Direct Debit amount may be subject to change at the discretion of Edinburgh Leisure. You will be given 10 working days’ notice of a price increase.
If your bank rejects your Direct Debit, Edinburgh Leisure will reapply during the same month. If your coaching Direct Debit remains unpaid 15 days after the payment due date your booking will be cancelled.
If you want to change the bank account you pay for your lesson from please contact askus@edinburghleisure.co.uk. Bank account changes made before the 19th of the month will take effect for the next DD collection.
3. Cancellations
If you decide to stop your lessons, please complete the this form by the 20th of the month which will allow us to process your cancellation during the same month. There are no cancellation fees.
If you have multiple bookings in our coaching programme and only wish to cancel one, it is important that you contact us and do not cancel your direct debit. If you cancel your direct debit with the bank first we cannot gaurantee your space will not be taken by another customer.
We will make every effort to process any changes requested after the 20th of the month in time for your next Direct Debit collection however this cannot be guaranteed and requests made after the 20th of the month may be actioned the following month.
4. Moving class
Class movements are managed by our venues.
If you wish to move your booking to another venue, day or time please complete this form and a member of the team will contact you.
If you move to a class with a different price, changes will come into effect for the 1st of the next month.
5. Refunds
We will make every effort not to cancel lessons but in the unfortunate circumstance that we do, we will deduct the cost of that lesson from your direct debit payment.
For both planned cancellations (such as special events or venue refurbishments) and unexpected cancellations, your direct debit will be amended for the month after the cancelled lesson was due to take place in. You do not need to do anything. This will happen automatically.
No refunds will be provided for any participant absences.
